The lyrics are beautiful and can easily be understood by anybody.They
are not complicated. Apparently, this is a song about Ed Sheeran’s
girlfriend Cherry Seaborn. This verse : “Cause we were just kids when we
fell in love” we know this refers to a long time love from back in
England and Cherry Seaborn fits the description. Ed Sheeran tells us
that He feels so at home with her, they share the same dreams and he
wishes he could someday share a house with her. Ed Sheeran try to
convinve her love that she is perfect. In the first chorus the girl was
doubting about her looks and the singer says she looks perfect. The
second chorus has one line changed where the singer appreciates her
beauty in a beautiful dress she wore that night. The music is very good
to me. When I listen to this song, I feel it has the same message as
"You are woderful tonight" by Eric Clapton. And then she asks me, "Do I
look all right?"And I say, "Yes, you look wonderful tonight." compare to
this chorus : "When you said you looked a mess, I whispered underneath
